“Les Ephémères”, or mayflies in english, is the name of our bridal couture segment. The mayfly is one of the oldest species of insects on the planet with the particularity of spending years as a nymph to hatch for only a few hours of life. Inspired by nature, our wedding dresses are beautifully crafted over an extended period of time and when the time comes, like the mayfly hatching from its cocoon to start its ephemeral life, they assist our brides to shine on their wedding day while gathering memories of a lifetime.

Hendrik Vermeulen's Bridal Couture collection entitled “From the Hudson to the Hamptons” describes the journey of a New York bride who has the choice of jumping on a private yacht on Pier 79 dressed in a Silk and Chantilly lace cat suit and to get married off shore in an intimate “tête à tête” ceremony or to organise a lavish ceremony in Central Park followed by a memorable reception at the mythical “Cipriani”.
From the simplistic design of “Kepp’s Bay”, “5th Avenue” or “East Hampton”, most appropriate for and unconventional bride and a fast paced celebration, to the more elaborate “Sagaponack” or “Central Park Carousel” with their hand painted or hand dyed Silk petticoats and exclusive Chantilly Lace; each modern bride will fall in love with the originality of the Silver Lurex, Charcoal and Hematite accents found throughout the Bridal Couture Collection.

Starting a new life in a rose bud, layers of crisp Italian Silk Dupione wrapping around you like flower petals, luxurious double sided silk satin draping over you like a flouncing stream, the finest Chantilly Lace hugging you close, with Swarovski Crystals simmering like morning dew drops.
